Two concerts at Silver Springs will be tied to the park's Festival of Lights celebration and will feature singers with long resumes.
This Saturday, Dec. 4, Crystal Gayle will perform at the Marion County attraction. She won a Grammy Award for the song "Brown Eyes." She was CMA's female vocalist of the year for two consecutive years.
On Dec. 18, country legend Mel Tillis will entertain. Tillis, a native Floridian and University of Florida alum, is a member of the Nashville Songwriters International Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. His first No. 1 hit was "I Ain't Never" in 1972.
