What's up this week with Orlando theme parks and attractions:
+ Kiddie supergroup Doodlebops will be the musical guest during the Just for Kids Fest at SeaWorld Orlando on Saturday. Show times are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., but the distribution of tickets begins at 9 a.m. across from Nautilus Theater. Festival events are included in regular SeaWorld admission.
Orlando Science Center on Saturday: Traveling exhibit "Bob the Builder -- Project: Build It," in which kids and families join the Can-Do Crew. Exhibit, which is included in regular science-center admission, will remain in Orlando through May 13.
+ Retro Game Night returns to the Orange County Regional History Center on Friday. This is for ages 18 and up, and it features board games such as Battleship, Clue, Scrabble, Candyland and more. It's $5 for nonmembers, free for members. Free treats, but pizza for sale and a cash bar. Hours are 7 p.m.-midnight.
+ Thursday night's Velvet Sessions at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel features the Fixx. For more information, go to www.velvetsessions.com.
+ REO Speedwagon comes to Silver Springs near Ocala on Saturday. For more information, go to www.silversprings.com.
+ The Real Music Concert Series continues at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Playing three times a day, Wednesday through Saturday, are the Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Diamonds. For more information, go to www.buschgardens.com/BGT.
+ It doesn't fall under our usual where to go/what to do mantra, but look for announcements from Universal Orlando on Wednesday concerning the upcoming Despicable Me attraction at Universal Studios and enhancements at the Adventures of the Amazing Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure and more. But before that, we'll be reporting Tuesday from Legoland Florida after a tour of the construction site of its water park, set to be complete by summer.
