Mario, Dru Hill, Sisqo to perform at Artscape
When Grammy-winning urban-pop star Ne-Yo pulled out last week of Artscape's headlining spot on July 19, folks at the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts were understandably frantic. But they didn't have to look too far for a replacement. They called on hometown urban-pop stars. Mario, whose recent six-week stint on Dancing with the Stars boosted his profile among mainstream audiences, will take the main stage at Artscape at 7 that evening, followed by Dru Hill with Sisqo at 8:30.
