Canton pizza place Pie 360 closes due to lack of sales

Pie 360, the fast-casual build-your-own-pizza restaurant at the Canton Crossing shopping center, has closed permanently.

The decision was made due to lack of sales, owner Dennis Sharoky said in an email.

Opened in 2015, Pie 360 replaced another Italian fast-casual eatery, Venti-Tre.

Earlier this year, two other Pie 360 locations — one in Washington and the other in Rockville — also closed.

Sharoky is the CEO of Coal Fire Group, the restaurant group behind Pie 360. The group also owns and operates Coal Fire Pizza, which has multiple locations in Maryland and Virginia.
