Did you ever think you could see Wye Oak and Outkast perform on the same day at the same show? Probably not, but in April, you can.
The big rumor was finally confirmed yesterday: Outkast, arguably hip-hop's greatest duo ever, will reunite at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. The festival will be held on two weekends in the spring, April 11-13 and April 18-20.
Wye Oak — likely performing new songs from the Baltimore duo's currently untitled fourth album due later this year — will perform April 11 and 18. Future Islands, who just announced its next album is called "Singles" and will be released on 4AD on March 25, will perform April 12 and 19. Finally, J. Roddy Walston and the Business — a band with members located all along the East Coast but still identifies itself as a Baltimore act — will perform on both final nights, April 13 and 20.
Thinking about going? You might want to act fast.
