Baltimore could be so much more attractive to visitors if the laws were changed for establishments that serve alcohol. The 2 a.m. closing time for clubs is the "pits." I was amazed at the meager hotel rates for the downtown hotels, as it appears they are often empty, suggesting that out-of-towners are not flocking to "Charm City." All the more reason that several members of the Ravens were partying the nite away at a swank downtown Manhattan club only days after their Superbowl win. Come on Maryland, changing the law could bring in more businesses and much needed tax revenue.
