Attendance at Otakon, the annual celebration of Japanese anime, video games and everything between, reached a new high this year, officials announced.
More than 31,000 went to Otakon 2011, held at the Baltimore Convention Center. The unofficial tally is 31,348 -- and Otakon will be back again next year.
The dates for Otakon 2012 are July 27-29, according to Bob Klemens, the convention’s chairman.
