(Wednesday Update below) After making Madonna look downright dignified at the Super Bowl, LMFAO are going on tour.
"Sorry for the Party Rocking" will stop at the Patriot Center in Fairfax June 25, it was announced Monday. The tour is named after the guys' second album. In a fitting pairing, Far East Movement, responsible for "Like a G6," open. Tickets, starting at $29.50, go on sale Wednesday.
Pier Six Pavilion's calendar keeps filling up: Mac Miller, Chicago, Bonnie Raitt.Earth, Wind and Fire are the latest addition. The band will play June 21. Lawn tickets, starting at $32, are on sale now.
The great New Jersey punk band Titus Andronicus, who played Rams Head last Spring, will play the Ottobar March 5. The band, whose last album was inspired by a Ken Burns documentary, is releasing "LP3" this year. Tickets, at $12, are already on sale.
The teen pop group Big Time Rush will perform at Jiffy Lube Live August 19, according to the band's label.
If you didn't know, the press releases says the group, which consists of four guys, was nominated for a 2012 Kids' Choice Awards alongside LMFAO and the Black Eyed Peas, so you know they're world-class entertainers.
The August show is part of the second leg of their latest tour, which stops at the Patriot Center March 2. Tickets for the Patriot Center show start at $60.10; ticket information on the summer show has not been released.
Update: Destroyer are going on the road again to promote last year's "Kaputt." The new tour includes a stop at Coachella in April and Washington's 9:30 Club June 16. Ticket information is not yet available.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
