No. 1 -- The Laughing Pint( Elizabeth Malby, Baltimore Sun / April 15, 2009 )
In a city of neighborhoods, the Laughing Pint is the quintessential neighborhood bar. Owner (and perpetually bartender) Shannon Cassidy anchors the place with a warm, welcoming air and a sharp beer and wine list. It's a universally appealing corner bar that brings in Baltimore natives and yuppie transplants -- and everyone mingles just fine. We wish every Baltimore bar was as inviting as the Laughing Pint. --Sam Sessa
