At this unassuming lacrosse bar in Charles Village, I found myself next to a patron who once coached football at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Right before we left, he exploded with joy, causing me to look at the screen as I took a final sip from a $2 Natty Boh can. His former player, Tavon Austin, had just been drafted in the first round of April's NFL Draft. Little did we know Austin would go on to be one of the most dynamic offensive rookies of the year for the St. Louis Rams. He was simply excited to hear his pupil's name.
