What's up with the racist jokes?

After Octavia Spencer's win for "The Help," host Billy Crystal said of the movie, "When I saw it, when I came out of 'The Help,' I wanted to hug the first black woman I saw, which from Beverly Hills is about a 45-minute drive."<br><Br>And in the the opening movie montage, there was a "cameo" by Sammy Davis Jr. that we're pretty sure was Crystal in blackface.<br><Br>It's just all ... kind of weird. And not particularly funny. Though really, Crystal hasn't been that funny overall.
