Along with the glamour, there have been plenty of gaffes at the Academy Awards over the years. Here are 10 memorable Oscar night missteps.
1934: Emcee Will Rogers announced the winner for director by saying, "Come up and get it, Frank!" Frank Capra, thinking he had won for "Lady for a Day," began to walk to the podium. However, the real winner was Frank Lloyd, for "Cavalcade." Capra called his return to his table "the longest, saddest, most shattering walk in my life."
