'American Hustle'

The nominations for the 2014 MTV Movie Awards have been released, with “American Hustle” and “The Wolf of Wall Street” leading the nominations with eight each.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” follows close behind with seven nominations, including Best Picture and Best Female Performance for the movie's star, Jennifer Lawrence.

“12 Years a Slave,” the Oscar best picture winner, is among the nominees for movie of the year.

Other notable nominations include Michael B. Jordan for Breakthrough Performance, Best Kiss for Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams in “American Hustle” and Best Shirtless Performance for Jennifer Aniston in  “We're the Millers.”

Voting for the movie awards categories opens on Thursday at MovieAwards.MTV.com.

The MTV Movie Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre LA Live on April 13 with Conan O'Brien hosting the festivities.
