Best Picture nominee: 'Zero Dark Thirty'

Too many people have mistaken "Zero Dark Thirty" for a documentary -- and have faulted it for supposed inaccuracies in its depiction of the raid that led to the death of Osama bin Laden -- for it to be acclaimed the Best Picture of 2012.

It's a shame, too. Jessica Chastain, who also probably won't win, is magnificent, and this overall is a better film than director Kathryn Bigelow's Oscar-winning "The Hurt Locker."
