On the set of 'The Dead Ones'
Baltimore-raised filmmakers Jeremy Kasten (director) and Dan Griffiths (producer) have been on the West Coast for more than a decade, often working together on the low-budget horror movies they love. But this summer they've come home, setting-up camp in a former West Baltimore middle school to shoot their next project together. "The Dead Ones" stars local actors Katie Foster, Torey Garza, Sarah Harper and Brandon Thane Wilson as four students trapped inside a haunted high school. Actress Clare Kramer ("Buffy, the Vampire Slayer") also stars. The filmmakers, who will be shooting in Baltimore through mid-August, hope to have their movie ready for release in spring 2010.
