Trapped! Stewart starred opposite Jodie Foster in this 2002 thriller about a mother and her 11-year-old daughter who become imprisoned in their home when intruders break in. The role won her early accolades, including this one from Rolling Stone's Peter Travers, who wrote, "Foster and Stewart -- in a nuanced, no-bull turn -- forge a bond that never feels cornball."
