At age 21, Cameron Diaz landed her breakout role playing Tina Carlyle, a lounge singer attracted to Jim Carrey's zany Stanley Ipkiss, who dons a mysterious mask and a newfound persona with it. The Los Angeles native had been working as an Elite model but had no professional acting experience except for what she did in her high school drama class... but it paid off.<br>
