The "Twilight" actress took a lot of flak for a quote she made in the June 2010 issue of Elle magazine in which she compared the experience of paparazzi-style photography to being raped. Realizing the severity of her gaffe, she backpedaled. "People thinking that I'm insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake," said Stewart, who has done PSAs against sexual violence for RAINN and Security on Campus. RAINN, which was among the groups that condemned her comment said that it appreciated her apology. "I'm really sorry about my choice of words," the 20-year-old added, noting that "violated" would have been a better pick.
