TV on Twitter

Nielsen has begun to take the temperature of social media conversations around prime-time television shows. This ranking of the top TV series of fall 2013 reflects the most buzzed-about cable and broadcast shows whose tweeted comments reached the largest Twitter audience. AMC's "Breaking Bad" ¿ a series that came to a much-lauded end ¿ tops the Nielsen Twitter TV list, with an average of 6 million people viewing Tweets about each new episode. The rankings also include competition shows such as ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and NBC's "The Voice" as well as dramatic series including FX's "American Horror Story: Coven" and ABC's "Scandal."- Dawn Chmielewski
