George Clooney isn't dating anyone.
A) Awesome news for anyone harboring a crush on the silver fox.
B) So, stop asking.
Ever since the the "Gravity" star called it quits with girlfriend Stacy Keibler back in July, rumors of new romances have been swirling around the Hollywood hottie. Potential romantic scenarios include dating Katie Holmes, getting back together with Croatian model Monika Jakisic, and having dinner with Julian Assange's laywer, London barrister Amal Alamuddin, People reports.
But the 52-year-old is putting a stop to those rumors.
"Three different stories in three weeks. I should be an athlete," he told the mag. "But, no of course, it's all made up."
And apparently his rep Stan Rosenfield is tired of fielding inquiries about his client's personal life and the poor women implicated in his love life.
"George wants this Monika crap to stop," his rep said in a rare statement to People. "He wants Katie to get a break, and he wants Amal to be able to prosecute cases without being hassled because she had one dinner with George and four others .… I even asked George if these [rumors] were true and he said he never comments on his private life, but in the interest of stopping the harassment of all three of these women, he felt he should."
The Oscar-winning "Argo" producer is already generating awards buzz this year for his stranded-in-space flick that costars Sandra Bullock. It isn't unusual to see him debut a love interest on the red carpet, so we'll have to wait and see if he'll be accompanied by anyone other than his good friend Sandy this award season.
