LOS ANGELES -- A Calabasas teenager arrested in connection with break-ins at the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge is apparently no stranger to the law.

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested near Los Angeles earlier this year for possession of cocaine.

He pleaded guilty and entered an 18-month drug diversion program.

He was also arrested last month for an unknown reason.

Prugo is now accused in the Lohan and Patridge burglaries.

He was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Thursday by Hollywood burglary detectives on suspicion of felony burglary in connection to the cases.

He is being held on $20,000 bail.

There are reports that a second suspect -- a woman -- has been named in the burglaries, however, Los Angeles police could not immediately confirm that information.

Lohan's Hollywood Hills home in the 2200 block of El Contento Drive was broken into last month.

Patridge, a star of MTV's show "The Hills," had her home burglarized in February.

Both women turned over surveillance footage of the break-ins.

Lohan's footage showed three people, while Patridge's cameras captured a man and a woman.

Neither actress was home at the time of each burglary.

Last month, police released surveillance photos of the suspects in the Lohan burglary.

A surveillance camera captured three suspects, whose faces were covered with scarves, walking through a gate and entering a courtyard at around 1:10 a.m.

Detectives say the suspects are believed to have entered the home through an unlocked door, then ransacked it and took property from the home.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and light-brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a light-color baseball hat, a brown short- sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as white female, 18 to 25 years of age, between 5 feet 1 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds.

Her hair was pulled back in a pony tail and she was last seen wearing a scarf, a white shirt and black pants.

The third suspect is described as a white female, 18 to 25 years of age, between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with shoulder-length blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and black pants.

Lohan's father, Michael, says a safe was ripped off a wall and at least two watches were taken. He said it was likely an inside job because a security system had been disarmed.

It was the second time since May that the actress' home had been breached by suspects. In that incident, the would-be thief left empty-handed after being scared off by an alarm.

The "Mean Girls" star discovered the latest break-in after returning home in the wee hours Sunday.

Lohan's mother, Dina, said Lindsay was planning to move "to a safer place" even before the break-in occurred.
