In addition to crazy costumes and die-hard comic fans, love showed up on the third day of San Diego's Comic-Con.
Three years ago, Michaele Hanline met Genevieve Gauss at the popular convention in downtown San Diego. She was dressed up as a character from Girl Genius and he was a fan.
"There's a song called 'Geeks in Love'," Gauss said. "I think it's probably a theme song of ours."
On Saturday, while a crowd of Comic-Con fans gathered around the couple, Hanline proposed to Gauss at exact spot they met.
"I've been planning this since last year," said Hanline. "I set up a whole scavenger hunt for her and we ended here at Girl Genius."
"I actually had some idea it would happen, but I had no idea where or when," said Gauss. "Then when he got down on one knee, I started freaking out and was so excited."
For the record, Gauss said 'yes.'
