Chocolate Dream Cookie

Amalie Adler Asher has turned her passion for baking into a philanthropic endeavor. To date, she has raised more than $17,000 for an organization called Share Our Strengths Great American Bake Sale. She bakes to order, primarily for her fellow residents at the Edenwald Retirement community, and she says the all-time favorite and most requested item is her decadent Chocolate Dream Cookie.
Makes: About 4 dozen
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
8 ounces semisweet Chocolate
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons Triple Sec liqueur
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 ounces chocolate chips
8 ounces walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt chocolate and butter, stir until smooth. Set aside.
Beat eggs, sugar, Triple Sec and vanilla together for one minute. Mix in melted chocolate and dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Line cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place about 1 tablespoon of batter 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
