TenTen Ramen to close this weekend

TenTen Ramen in Mount Vernon is closing its doors this weekend.

The ramen restaurant at 413 N. Charles St. will close Sunday, an employee at the restaurant confirmed.

The restaurant alerted customers to the closure last week through a post on its Facebook page, which did not list a reason for the closure, but said, “Good things are coming, stay tuned!”

It’s unclear what’s next for TenTen. The owners could not immediately be reached for comment.

TenTen was among the first eateries to introduce Baltimore to the ramen craze when it opened in 2014. It has since been followed by other ramen-centered restaurants such as Ejji Ramen, Mi & Yu Noodle Bar, Kippo Ramen and PekoPeko Ramen.

The owners have a second location in Annapolis, which remains open.
