New Year's Eve dining options in the Baltimore area

As 2018 approaches, Baltimore’s restaurants are ready to celebrate with prix-fixe menus, champagne toasts and views of fireworks on New Year’s Eve. These are just some of the spots preparing to put on special dinners and celebrations. Most require reservations.

Aida Bistro & Wine Bar in Columbia will offer a four-course menu for $85 per person. (6741 Columbia Gateway Drive, 410-953-0500, aidabistro.com)

B&O American Brasserie downtown will offer several prix-fixe menu options ($79 for four courses, $99 for six courses and optional wine pairings for $30) from 5 p.m. to midnight. The restaurant will also be open for breakfast and lunch. (2 N. Charles St., 443-692-6172, bandorestaurant.com)

Bar Vasquez in Harbor East will serve a three-course menu for $85 per person from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., as well as its a la carte menu. The restaurant will host live music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (1425 Aliceanna St., 410-534-7296, barvasquez.com)

Birroteca in Hampden will serve brunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 5 p.m. to midnight. (1520 Clipper Road, 443-708-1934, bmorebirroteca.com). Charleston in Harbor East will offer guests a four-course meal for $149 ($219 with wine pairings) for seatings from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., or $319 for seatings from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Later seatings include wine, champagne, cocktails, party favors and a view of the Inner Harbor fireworks. The Elephant in Mount Vernon will serve a four-course menu for $125 or $145 with wine pairings from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant’s second floor bar and lounge will also be open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. serving global street food and cocktails. Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore will serve brunch a la carte from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by dinner from 6 p.m. to midnight. Rec Pier Chop House at the Sagamore Pendry in Fells Point will host two seatings on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant will serve a four-course menu for $115 per person during the first seating from 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and the second seating from 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. will feature a five-course menu for $155.
