Metropolitan Coffeehouse & Wine Bar closing in Federal Hill

As 2017 comes to a close, so too will Metropolitan Coffeehouse & Wine Bar in Federal Hill.

The Federal Hill restaurant and bar will close Dec. 31 after 13 years in business. The owners announced the closure with a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

We hope to see you before we close to properly thank you for all the good times.”

The restaurant at 902 S. Charles St. will have a closing party starting at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, according to a separate post. Tickets are $100 per person for the all-you-can-eat (until 10:30 p.m.), all-you-can-drink event. There will be 100 tickets for sale, limited to two per transaction and available from general manager Sylvere Tucker.
