Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls opens at Belvedere Square, National Harbor

Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, an Annapolis-based restaurant, has opened its first franchise locations in Baltimore and National Harbor.

The restaurant’s Belvedere Square location, at 540 E. Belvedere Ave., opened in early December, followed by the eatery in National Harbor, at 156 National Plaza.

Mason’s serves several takes on lobster rolls, such as the “classic” roll (with mayonnaise and lemon butter), a lobster salad roll and lobster BLT. The restaurant also offers lobster bisque, clam chowder, salads and lobster grilled cheese. Prices range from $14 to $20 for lobster rolls and $4 to $14 for other menu items.

The Belvedere Square eatery marked Mason’s first franchise location and is part of a broader franchise expansion the restaurant is pursuing.

In addition to its flagship Annapolis location, there’s also a location in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

Dan Beck, the restaurant’s founder, said the company has leases signed for forthcoming restaurants at the Harborplace Pratt Street Pavilion in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, in Reston Town Center in Reston, Va., and in Charleston, S.C.

The Belvedere Square location is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
