IHOP is opening in former Panera space in Baltimore's Inner Harbor

International House of Pancakes will soon add another breakfast option to downtown Baltimore.

IHOP, a national chain known for its pancakes and waffles, plans to open at 600 E. Pratt St. in the space that previously housed Panera Bread.

Franchisees Deepak and Sunil Shrestha will operate the eatery. The brothers also own four IHOP locations in Howard and Prince George’s counties.

The restaurant is slated to open in the fall, according to a spokesman for David S. Brown Enterprises, which owns the building.
