White Marsh Duck Donuts to offer eclipse-themed doughnuts

Duck Donuts locations, including the new shop in White Marsh, will offer a variety of eclipse-themed doughnuts for the upcoming solar event.

Coated with chocolate and vanilla drizzles, Oreo crumbles, powdered sugar and other black-and-white toppings, Duck Donuts’ “Eclipse Assortment” will include a dozen flavors meant to resemble the different stages of the eclipse.

Marylanders will experience a partial solar eclipse when the moon crosses between the earth and sun next Monday.

The assortment will be available to pre-order Aug. 19-21. Four dozen is the minimum number of doughnuts required to place an order in advance.

North Carolina-based Duck Donuts offers doughnuts made to order with customers’ choice of toppings.

The chain opened a White Marsh location in late June at 5272 Campbell Blvd. in the Nottingham Square shopping center. It also has Maryland locations in Rockville and Gaithersburg.
