Father's Day specials at Baltimore-area restaurants

Restaurants across Greater Baltimore are offering Father’s Day specials to celebrate dads in the area. Here are some of the specials on tap for the June 18 holiday.

Cinghiale in Harbor East, which recently began serving Sunday brunch, will offer a Father's Day brunch with unlimited antipasti. The menu, offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is $29 for three courses. (822 Lancaster St., 410-547-8282, cgeno.com/menus/brunch/)

Citron in Pikesville will serve Father’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a la carte options including a 16-ounce bone-in veal chop, crispy buttermilk chicken, herb-seared rare ahi tuna nicoise and crab cakes. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Fells Point is offering a “Pit Boss Package” on June 11-18 that includes the cookbook “An American Roadhouse”; a Dinosaur Bar-B-Que apron, pint glass and bottle opener; Sensuous Slathering Bar-B-Que sauce; and a bottle of the restaurant’s new Big Action Spice Rub. Donna’s at Cross Keys will offer a brunch buffet for $44 per person with options including prime rib, ham, omelet, pancakes, jumbo shrimp, seafood and salads. Fleming’s Steakhouse & Prime Wine Bar in Harbor East will offer a three-course menu for $89 on June 16-18 including a 35-ounce prime tomahawk steak and choice of appetizer and dessert. The restaurant will also serve a three-course brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 18 ($47.95 per adult and $18.95 per child). Brunch entree selections include eggs Benedict with sliced filet mignon or a housemade crab cake with a tomato hollandaise; cinnamon apple brioche French toast; and California-style steak and eggs with sliced filet mignon, among others. Johnny's in Roland Park, which recently became a seafood restaurant, will serve Father’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., serving its regular menu with specials. For lunch, the restaurant will serve a tempura-fried soft-shell burger with Old Bay fries. The dinner special is a pan-fried pork chop with confit oranges, fennel salad and pickled blueberries. Morton’s the Steakhouse in the Inner Harbor will serve a three-course menu for $59 including a salad, entree paired with a potato or vegetable side, and dessert of chocolate mousse, key lime pie or soufflé. (300 S. Charles St., 410-547-8255, mortons.com)

Mount Washington Tavern will give all dads who dine there June 18 a free bottle of Maker’s Mark BBQ Sauce. The gift will be available while supplies last from 11 a.m. to close. (5700 Newbury St., 410-367-6903, mtwashingtontavern.com)

The Nickel Taphouse will serve brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., including $15 bottomless mimosas, bloody marys and EVO craft beer drafts. The Mount Washington restaurant will also serve Father’s Day specials for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (1604 Kelly Ave., 443-869-6240, nickeltaphouse.com)

The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Harbor East is serving a special surf-and-turf for Father’s Day: a 6-ounce filet with a whole lobster, jumbo shrimp scampi or crab cakes for $69. Parts & Labor in Remington is accepting Father’s Day meat and growler orders through June 15 for pickup on June 18. The order form includes cuts such as bone-in ribeye ($29 per pound), New York strip steaks ($29 per pound), brisket ($12 per pound) and porterhouse ($32 per pound). Petit Louis in Columbia will serve a Father’s Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant will offer its regular menus with a Cote de Boeuf special (12-ounce ribeye steak, fingerling potatoes Lyonaisse, creamed greens and a black pepper red wine reduction). Petit Louis Bistro in Roland Park will serve its regular menu plus Father’s Day specials for brunch (10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.). The special of the day is Aloyau de Boeuf Grillé: a 12-ounce porterhouse steak with pommes frites, grilled zucchini, red onion and a red wine reduction sauce.
