Happy Pi Day [Pictures]
Pi Day is celebrated around the world on March 14 by mathematicians, math fans and those who love them.
This is because Pi, the Greek symbol used in mathematics to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, is approximately 3.14 -- so March 14. That's how they explain it on piday.org.
So, why do people also celebrate Pi day by eating pie and thinking about pie? Because it's a pun. And because it's pie.
Here are some of our favorite pies around town. Just know that not all of them may still be on the menu of the restaurants where we found them. But most of them are.
