Woodberry Kitchen goes to Washington
While Rogue 24 chef/owner R.J. Cooper continues to recuperate from open-heart surgery, his chefs friends are showing up with their knife cases, one week at a time. The Washington, D.C. restaurant is calling the series of collaborations, which are headed into their third week. the Rogue Sessions. Each evening features a 24-course dinner consisting of 12 of the visiting chef's dishes and 12 Rogue 24 favorites. Bryan Voltaggio took the first Rogue Session, and this week, the guest chef is Woodberry Kitchen's Spike Gjerde. Tickets for Gjerde's Rogue Session, which are $185 a pop, are on sale at the Gilt City website.
