Critic's picks: Petit Louis( Algerina Perna, Baltimore Sun / October 26, 2011 )
This Foreman/Wolf production, and to my mind its masterpiece, is the perfect bistro not in spite of the noise level but because of it. Really, what it is, is nothing more than the sound of human beings intoxicated with the kind of good cheer that only good food shared in the company of great friends can produce. It's not a real French bistro, of course. In its thorough rejection of complacency, Petit Louis is better.--Richard Gorelick
