Critic's picks: Mr. Rain's Funhouse( Barbara Haddock Taylor, Baltimore Sun / October 25, 2011 )
A restaurant opens, minds are made up about it, life moves on. But Mr. Rain's Fun House at the American Visionary Art Museum is not what it looked like at first. It's like what happens in, you know, a fun house. The restaurant's outward playfulness masks the seriousness of purpose shared by a trio of young proprietors. The flavor-focused contemporary cuisine is from Bill Buszinski, the vibrant setting is managed by Maria Buszinski, and the stellar beverage program is under the care of Perez Klebahn.--Richard Gorelick
