Mardi Gras this year got caught between the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day. Folks are sated on New Orleans, and they're saving up for dinner with their baby.

The annual Mardi Gras North party is on Tuesday at Slainte Irish Pub and Restaurant, Kooper's Tavern and Woody's Rum Bar and Island Grill. Each establishment is featuring a menu of Cajun-inspired specials. Proceeds from the evening's sales benefit the Tyanna Foundation.
Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar in Annapolis is wrapping up its three-week Carnaval celebration with a Fat Tuesday blowout. Mojitos are half off, and the full Paladar menu will be available in addition to a special Carnaval menu of Brazilian-inspired street foods. The Latin band Pa Gozar will perform from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Mad River in Federal Hill Tweeted out a Mardi Gras special on "50 Cent Wings all day and Hurricanes all night."
Polish Treasures on Chester Street was sold out of paczki, the traditional Polish pastries eaten on Shrove Tuesday, by 10:30 a.m. I always forget.
