Outdoor dining spots in Baltimore [Pictures]
Let's get outside and enjoy some fresh air -- these are our favorite outdoor eating spots in Baltimore. We included some of the best waterfront locations, especially those places that have taken full advantage of their setting with thought-out patio designs; none of those wobbly table and spindly chair deals. We also included our favorite sidewalk cafes, because nothing beats a good people-watching vantage point on a hot summer night, and a few backyard patios, too. Because sometimes, all you need is to be outside, enjoying every second of the year's longest days. -- Richard Gorelick

When the weather warms up, the sidewalk tables fill up at City Cafe in Mount Vernon. It's a great place to hang out with friends -- it's especially popular at weekend brunch. We like how the staff always treats sidewalk diners like first-class citizens, instead of an afterthought. In other words, you'll never hear a waiter say, "Nobody knew you were out here."
