Outdoor dining spots in Baltimore [Pictures]
Let's get outside and enjoy some fresh air -- these are our favorite outdoor eating spots in Baltimore. We included some of the best waterfront locations, especially those places that have taken full advantage of their setting with thought-out patio designs; none of those wobbly table and spindly chair deals. We also included our favorite sidewalk cafes, because nothing beats a good people-watching vantage point on a hot summer night, and a few backyard patios, too. Because sometimes, all you need is to be outside, enjoying every second of the year's longest days. -- Richard Gorelick

One of our favorite tucked-away patios anywhere is in beautiful downtown Lauraville, behind Red Canoe Bookstore Cafe. The patio has shade-giving trees, so it stays reasonably cool even on a hot Saturday afternoon, when there's nothing you'd rather do than hang out back here, with a good friend or all by yourself, with strong coffee and awesome poppy-seed muffins.
