There are worthwhile dining specials all over town on Thursday. Donna's in Columbia and Regi's in Federal Hill run wine specials, and Galen Sampson whips up some fried chicken at Dogwood in Hampden.
The most popular one is at Koco's Pub in Arcadia, where the tavern's famous crab cake platter goes $19.95. If you get shut out of Koco's, stay on Harford Road and head up to Hamilton, where Clementine runs a Thursday night pate special. Specially priced house made pates during happy hour are $5 each. Across the street, Hamilton Tavern does a build-your-own mac and cheese on Thursday nights. Various meat and cheese materials are available. It adds up to between $10-$12 depending on what you choose
