Baltimore City and Baltimore County are bringing back their successful restaurant week promotions.
Baltimore's sixth annual Winter Restaurant Week has been announced for Feb. 16-23.
During the eight-day event, participating restaurants will offer three-course fixed-price dinner menus for $30 or $20. Some restaurants will also offer a two-course lunch, consisting of an appetizer and entree, priced at $15. The prices do not include liquor, tax and gratuity.
The annual dining promotion is three weeks later than it was last year, and two days shorter. Also, this year's restaurant week is part of a larger winter promotional package from Visit Baltimore called Absolutely Febulous, which also includes discounts at hotels, museums and attractions.
Participating restaurants have not been announced yet. They'll be posted on the promotion's website, absolutelyfebulous.com.
Baltimore County Restaurant Week runs Jan. 10-26.
The county's version, unlike the city's, allows restaurants to set the fixed-price for their menus -- anywhere from $10.14 to $35.14, for anywhere from one to four courses.
Among the nearly 50 restaurants participating are a few that have opened within the past year, including Cunningham's, Oyster Bay Grille and the new Ryleigh's Oyster on Padonia Road. The full list of restaurants is posted on baltimorecountyrestaurantweek.com.
Baltimore County Restaurant Week is produced by the Baltimore County Office of Tourism and Promotion and the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce.
