See who's extending Restaurant Week

Summer Restaurant Week ended Sunday. Don't panic. If your number one destination was booked solid, you'll have another week -- maybe more -- to get yourself in. Almost 30 restaurants have announced that they're extending their restaurant week deals until at least Aug. 12, and the Prime Rib is extending its restaurant week menu through Sept. 3.

The dates for extensions vary so make sure you contact the restaurant directly to confirm the extension details.

On the official Restaurant Week website, restaurants that are extending offers are tagged with an "E" -- they include Alchemy, Alizee, Caesar's Den, Cazbar, Creme, Crush and the Elkridge Furnace Inn.

Also James Joyce, Louisiana, Kali's Court, Kettle Hill, Lebanese Taverna, Marie Louise Bistro, Meli, Mezze, Mountain Branch Grille & Pub, Mr. Rain's Fun House and Pacific Coast Dining Co.

Also Regi's, Sascha's, Sotto Sopra, Tapas Adela, Ten Ten, Watertable and the Wine Market.

In most restaurants, the space offers clues about what happens in the kitchen. Pictures of Italy on the walls, signs for Mexican beer, or crisp white linens on the table all tell stories that diners understand.
