No. 100: Woman's Industrial Kitchen
Reviving the historic lunchroom at the Woman's Industrial Exchange sounded like the kind of impossible task issued to heroines in fairy tales, like picking lentils out of the ashes. But Irene Smith, who gained an ardent local following with her Souper Freak food truck, has pulled off a happy ending. The tomato aspic and chicken salad are back.

Pabu Izakaya in the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore said on its website Wednesday that it will be closed for up to a week and a half because of water damage.
"Please be advised that PABU has been closed temporarily due to damage caused by a water leak. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take 7-10 days before the restaurant is open for dinner service again," the site said. "PABU will continue to provide the Baltimore community with great dining experiences throughout the closure by way of several pop-up events."
Its sister restaurant, Wit & Wisdom, remains open.
The Sun routinely calls the Baltimore City Health Department when a restaurant closes temporarily to see if any recent actions have been taken by the department in conjunction with the venue. A health department spokesman said Pabu's closure is not related to any department actions.
