A website is up and running for the new restaurant, which takes over the old Cosmopolitan spot on O'Donnell Square. About itself, Shiso says this: "Shiso Tavern is a modern Asian inspired bistro. With an inviting and modern decor we will be pleased to offer Asian cuisine with modern twists, a full service bar and an extensive wine list."
The team behind Shiso Tavern is Mel Carter and Brett Lockard of Blue Hill Tavern. They're installed Brendan Tharp as executive chef and Daniel Binghak as executive sushi chef.
