You'll have to get through Monday night first, but there are some worthwhile restaurant options waiting on Tuesday morning.

Slainte in Fells Point will start serving breakfast at 7 a.m., and the first of six English Premier League matches, West Bromwich Albion vs. Fulham, goes on at 7:30 a.m. It's a good reason to show off the kits you got for Christmas.

Miss Shirley's restaurants in Keswick and the Inner Harbor are open from 7:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. on New Year's Day, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Milk & Honey Market in Mount Vernon will open at 8 a.m. on New Year's Day.

Wit & Wisdom at the Four Seasons Baltimore Hotel will serve a seasonal holiday buffet featuring popular breakfast and lunch items. Seatings available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the cost is $35 for adults, $25 for 12 and under. "Bottomless" mimosas are available for $19.  

B&O Brasserie is welcoming the new year with The Morning After: Hangover Brunch. The chefs are preparing a menu featuring some of their favorite greasy dishes. The bar will be serving hand-crafted hair-of-the-dog cocktails and setting up a Bloody Mary bar. The Hangover Brunch will be served from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Regi's in Federal Hill will serve New Year's Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crepe du Jour in Mount Washington opens for lunch at 11 a.m.
