Upslidedown Dave food truck owner to open deli in Padonia Centre

Dave Pulford, a local food truck owner and president of the Maryland Mobile Food Vending Association, is opening a deli this month in Timonium.

Midtown Deli will occupy a 1,200-square-foot space and is slated to open at the end of May. The business, which will be open seven days a week, will employ five people and serve “proven favorites,” like hamburgers, sandwiches and salads. In the future, Pulford intends to serve dinner entrees.

Business hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, and menu prices will range from $5 to $10.

Pulford also owns the food trucks Upslidedown Dave and The Sultan, which he’s operated since 2012. He’s served as president of Maryland Mobile Food Vending Association since 2015.

The deli will be located on the ground floor of five-story Padonia Centre, 30 E. Padonia Road in Timonium. The 40,000-square-foot commercial office building is owned and managed by Hill Management Services, Inc.
