Luk Fu, Maryland Live's new Asian-themed restaurant, is set to open on June 10, a casino spokeswoman said. 

Located adjacent to Rams Head Center Stage and overlooking the casino floor, Luk Fu’s pan-Asian fare will include dim sum dishes, noodle soups, pan-fried and steamed noodle dishes and entrees like Mongolian beef, Chinese roast duck and kung pao shrimp.

Joseph Ku, most recently the executive Asian chef at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., will be the executive chef.

The casino said it's expanding its Asian offerings in part because of increased demand from its growing Asian clientele, and partly due to the success of Noodles, a casual wok and noodle bar located near the casino's buffet.

As for the restaurant's name -- the characters pictured in the restaurant's logo, Lok Fu Xiao Guan, mean "happy fortune bistro," according to the casino spokeswoman.

Luk Fu joins a lineup of restaurants at the Hanover casino that now includes Bobby's Burger Palace, the Cheesecake Factory and the Prime Rib.
