Langermann's pepper-crusted tuna takes Restaurant Week appetizer challenge

The People’s Choice was awarded to The Food Market for their spicy shrimp with grilled pineapple. The best use of locally sourced ingredients went to Luna Del Sea for their Flash Seared Wagyu Carpaccio.
Some 100 restaurants have signed up to participate in Baltimore's Summer Restaurant Week, which begins Friday and runs through Aug. 5. During the 10-day event, restaurants are offering three-course (set) dinner menus for $30.12 or $20.12 per person, not including liquor, tax or gratuity. Select restaurants will also offer a two-course lunch menu for $15.12, not including liquor, tax or gratuity.

In other Restaurant Week news, The Prime Rib has already announced that it will be extending its restaurant-week deal all the way through Sunday, Sept. 2. A complete list of participating restaurants, menus and a map of restaurant locations can be found online at www.baltimorerestaurantweek.com.
