The owners of Costas Inn surprise Kathie Lee with a crabfeast
(August 16, 2011)
It had to come out sometime. I love Kathie Lee Gifford. As in, I think she's really, really funny.
Gifford, who grew up in Bowie, Md. and graduated from Bowie High School, is a noted fan of Chesapeake seafoood, steamed crabs and Costas Inn. On Tuesday, Aug. 16, Costas' owners, Nick and Pete Triantafilos made their annaul "surprise" visit to the Today show for Kathie Lee's birthday.
Here's a link to the video on the Costas homepage. And here's a link to the Today show website.
Kathie Lee shares her crabfeast memories, which inlcude National beer -- it's not clear whether her father was a Premium or a Bohemian man, though.
