Food Network's 'Ginormous Food' to showcase 'biggest and baddest' dishes in Baltimore

New Food Network show "Ginormous Food" is showcasing the Baltimore area's giant eats in an upcoming episode.

"Ginormous Food," a new Food Network show dedicated to over-the-top eats, will visit three Baltimore-area restaurants in an episode that airs this week.

The episode, dubbed "Baltimore's Biggest and Baddest," premieres Friday at 8 p.m., when host Josh Denny will sample the largest meals Jimmy's Famous Seafood, Champs Pizza & Subs and The Breakfast Shoppe have to offer.

At Jimmy's, Denny will try the 7-pound Seafood UFO (a sandwich that includes a crabcake, shrimp salad, fried oysters, and macaroni and cheese), according to the show's website. Champs in Glen Burnie will showcase its 36-inch pizza topped with crab meat. And a 30-pound stack of fall harvest pancakes will take the spotlight at The Breakfast Shoppe in Severna Park.

In addition to Friday's premiere, the episode will be shown Saturday at 3 a.m., Monday at 11 p.m., Tuesday at 2 a.m. and Feb. 4 at 4:30 p.m.
