For Father's Day, restaurants luring dads with golf bags, cigars and dry-aged beef

Restaurants are luring families in on Father's Day with cigars and golf bags and by dry-aging anything that's not nailed down.

Here are some Father's Day dining options around town:

RA Sushi is offering an all-day "manly-sized" happy hour menu selection on Father's Day, 11 a.m. to close, featuring more than 30 sushi, appetizer, and tapas items ranging from $2.75 to $7.75, plus a wide variety of beer, wine, sake, and signature cocktails ranging from $3.75 to $7.75.  

Fleming's Prime Steak House & Wine Bar is offering a three-course brunch for $36.95 on Father's Day. Each dad will also receive a $25 dining card valid for a future visit.

Mission BBQ is giving away a Weber smoker at both of its locations as part of its Dad's Day Great Smoker Giveaway. The entry deadline is Saturday. Details about the contest are on the Misson BBQ website

Sullivan's Steak House is featuring two dry-aged steaks on its Father's Day menu - a 26-ounce Tomahawk Steak and a 14-ounce New York Strip. Also, on Father's Day, guests can enter a raffle to win a golf bag.

Ten Ten is offering an a la carte brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For dinner, the Harbor East restaurant is serving its a la carte menu and a $36 three-course prix-fixe menu.

Fleet Street Kitchen is offering a "handsome" brunch and dinner for Father's Day. Brunch is from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a $39 three-course fixed-price menu, and dinner is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a $49 three-course fixed-price menu as well as the full a la carte menu.

Mt. Washington Tavern is giving out bottles of Maker's Mark Bourbon Flavored Gourmet Sauce, along with a recipe for the tavern's short ribs.

The Prime Rib at Maryland Live Casino is offering a "Father's Day & Cigar" menu, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., featuring the Rocky Patel premium cigar "The Edge." Options include the smoked Porterhouse with bourbon peppercorn sauce or the low country spicy shrimp and grits, either of which can be combined with the special cigar.

The Live Buffet at Maryland Live Casino is offering an all-you-can-eat snow crab and roast New York strip loin dinner for $29.99, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., along with the regular buffet offerings.

The Oregon Grille is sprucing up its bluestone patio for a Father's Day brunch featuring prime dry-aged steaks, seafood and other grilled fare from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vino Rosina is featuring several "manly" specials, like soft shell crabs, a breakfast burger and a barbecue pork benedict in addition to its regular brunch menu. And the Harbor East restaurant will be playing the Orioles-Red Sox game at the bar, with $1.50 Natty Boh drafts.

The Rusty Scupper is taking reservations for its Father’s Day brunch. There are three seating envelopes:  9:30 a.m-9:45 a.m, 11 a.m.-11:15 a.m. and 1:15-1:30 p.m. The brunch is $43.95 per adult and $19.95 for children. Dinner hours on Father’s Day are 4 p.m.-10 p.m.

Grille 700 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is featuring its regular Sunday brunch and free domestic drafts for dads.

Wine Market Bistro is seving a $28 three-course Father's Day brunch in addition to a limited a la carte menu. Special items include things like 72-hour shortribs, eggs Benedict and banana split pancakes.
