Every week another area farmers market kicks off its season.
The Saturday market at Green Spring Station resumes this weekend. That's from 2-5 p.m. on the Stone Mill Bakery parking lot. Among the 20-plus vendors are local farmers and producers of specialty foods. I'm curious about Burgers, Beer & Beans in a Box.
Also this week, we've launched From the Harvest, a new feature in the Wednesday Taste section. Each week will offer recipes for one currently abundant market vegetable.
